Commissioned in 2019 by The Stuttgart Ballet for Gabriel Figueredo and highly inspired by the lyrics of the song Todo Homem from Zeca Veloso, this piece exlores the feelings of the young dancer, forced to move abroad in order to pursue his dreams and therefore his distance to his mother. As the piece was then performed by a more mature woman in 2022 the focus of the work shifted from the point of view of the kid to that of the mother, bringing new meaning to the steps and mood of the work. This multiple gender option helped developing further the topic of the strongest bond between humans.
