FEED THESE WORDS TO THE WIND

We walk alone now [...]

There is little left for us [...]
our minds are open and learned.

Never in your days
will you find a pair so burnt.

FEED THESE WORDS TO THE WIND was created for the Prize Ceremony of the FOLIGNO DANZA FESTIVAL

A restless figures stomps on stage.

He is joined by a hunched man, a frail image so similar and so different.

Are they one and the same?

In everything lies its opposite.

The hurt and hug each other, they listen to and scream over one another, they are not bound to anything but a fleeting moment - just like any life - of exilarating beauty and flashing horror.

Born as a celebration of friendship, FEED THESE WORDS TO THE WIND, transformed naturally - as creations do when they start being, and not being made - into a conversation with the self. To walk alone somewhere unknown and follow the long shadow into the night, as they are “too deep to find the light”. A stream of consciousness, an inner monologue swinging between destructive thoughts and innermost tenderness.

Not a word, little widow
of the man I was before

For the only frailness left
is in the night

When I cannot find the silver
designed to take your life
and the shadows are too deep
to find the light

They do not reach the small bones of courage
